Fancy Footwear at Bucketfeet

I’ve been eyeing Bucketfeet shoes for months now. I love what the company stands for and I love the art behind each shoe. And because a different artist creates each design, there’s a little something for everyone. So during my recent trip to NYC, I knew I had to make a stop. As expected, I fell in love. Not only did the shoes steal my heart (I couldn’t resist and bought two pairs), but also the store.

My two purchases:

Archer – Turquoise ($68)Pineappleade Gold ($78)

In terms of fit, Bucketfeet currently only offers full sizes, but I hear half sizes are in the works. I’m a true size 5.5, so I went with the 5 rather than 6 for both since I suspect the canvas fabric will give a little over time. If I bought the leather option, however, I would have walked out with size 6s.

Now for the store.

Disclaimer: Apparently, it’s not trendy to wear two different pairs of shoes. Whatever.
